My name is Maddy O’Donnell and I’m the Maddy of Maddy’s Bakeshop. I got into baking by googling 'therapeutic activities' when my dad got sick while I was working a stressful job in music pr in NYC. It turned out that I loved my therapeutic activity so much that it became my career! I moved to Seattle right before the pandemic & covid made me end my very short stint of pastry school so I decided to teach myself all of the baked goods that interested me. When I’m not baking, I’m probably drinking a glass of wine, watching Bravo & knitting with my two cats, Noodle and Gus, and partner, Andrew.

Maddy’s Bakeshop is a microbakery specializing in laminated pastries and floral cakes with local and seasonal ingredients based in Seattle, Washington.
